Ingredients:
- Milk1/2 Cups
- Lemon Juice1 Tablespoons
- Cod Fillets4 of 3 ounce each
- Oil for frying1 Cups
- Cornmeal1/3 Cups
- All Purpose Flour1/3 Cups
- Paprika Powder1 Teaspoons
- Salt and PepperTo Taste
- Garlic Powder1/2 Teaspoons
- Cayenne Pepper1/8 Teaspoons
- Thyme1/2 Teaspoons

Steps to make Cornmeal Coating Recipe:
1) Take a bowl and whisk together lemon juice and milk.
2) Add the cod fillets to the bowl. Turn to coat. Leave to marinate for 5 minutes.
3) Heat up oil in a skillet over moderate flame.
4) In a new bowl combine flour and cornmeal together. Mix in garlic powder, thyme, salt, pepper, paprika and cayenne pepper.
5) Coat the fish readily with the cornmeal mixture. Fry in the hot oil until evenly golden brown. Serve hot!
