Sausage with Mango Salsa Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Mango
    1
    Peeled, Chopped
  • Peach
    1/2
    Peeled, Chopped
  • Lime Juice
    1 Lime
  • Red Onion
    1 Tablespoons
    Chopped
  • Cilantro
    1 Tablespoons
    Chopped
  • Water
    2 Cups
  • White Rice
    1 Cups
  • Lime Juice
    1 Lime
  • Cilantro
    1 Tablespoons
    Chopped
  • Cooking Spray
  • Italian Turkey Sausage Links
    3
  • Orange Juice
    1/2 Cups
  • Garlic Salt
    To Taste

Preparation mode:

Steps to make Sausage with Mango Salsa Recipe:
1) Take a bowl and combine mango and peach init.
2) Add lime juice to the bowl, followed by a tablespoon of cilantro and then onion.
3) Add water to a non stick skillet over high flame. Bring to a boil.
4) Add in the rice, followed by lime juice and a tablespoon of cilantro.
5) Stir thoroughly and boil the rice over moderate low flame for about 20 minutes time. Drain and set aside.
6) Coat a new non stick skillet with cooking spray and heat up over moderate flame.
7) Add the sausages and stir fry for about 10 minutes.
8) Set up the cooked sausages on a cutting platter. Slice them up into bite sized pieces.
9) In the skillet in which the sausage were fried, stir in orange juice.
10) Bring to a simmer and re add the sausage to the skillet. Cover the skillet and leave to cook for 5 minutes.
11) Now add the prepared mango salsa to the skillet. Mix well and heat through for half a minute.
12) Add garlic salt to the skillet. Mix well and serve over lime cilantro rice
