Pan Fried Whole Trout Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Lemon Wedges for garnishing
    2 Lemons
  • Olive Oil
    3 Tablespoons
  • Salt and Pepper
    To Taste
  • Cayenne Pepper
    To Taste
  • Cornmeal
    1/2 Cups
  • All Purpose Flour
    1/2 Cups
  • Whole Trout
    4 of 12 ounce each

Preparation mode:

Steps to make Pan Fried Whole Trout Recipe:
1) Take the gill out of the fish and discard them.
2) Wash the fish readily under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
3) Take a bowl and mix together salt, black pepper, cornmeal and flour.
4) Heat up oil in a skillet over high flame.
5) Coat the fish with the flour mixture and place in the oil once its hot.
6) Fry the fish for 12 minutes, giving 6 minutes to either side. Once done, the fish should be easily tearable with a fork.
7) Garnish the fried whole fish with lemon wedges and serve!
