Preparation mode:
1) Preheat the oven to the maximum extent (most ovens have an upper
limit of 550 F). Put the pizza stone (in case you are using one) in the
oven while you preheat the oven. (In case you don’t have pizza a stone,
a cast iron griddle can also serve the purpose. In case you use a
baking sheet, the pizza will be of great taste, but it will require
extra time to get prepared and it won’t be that crispy).
2) Add water to a small pot.
3) Bring it to boil over medium heat.
4) Add salt to it.
5) Slice the potatoes into very thin pieces and add them to the boiling water (It’s great if you use mandolin to make potato slices).
6) Cook it for about 2 minutes or so that the potatoes are cooked a bit.
7) Remove the pot from the water.
8) Drain the water from the pot.
9) Slice the tomatoes into thin pieces. In case the slices are large, do cut them in half.
10) Divide the basil into small pieces.
11) Divide the tough into 3 portions.
12) Make a ball of each of the divided portion and then flatten the balls.
13) Roll the dough balls into 8-inch rounds with the help of a rolling pin.
14) Put the slices of potato on top of the crust.
15) Now add tomato slices on top of the crust.
16) Sprinkle salt and pepper on the top.
17) Use a small amount of basil oil to drizzle on top of the crusts.
18) Bake the pizzas in the preheated oven for about 8 minutes.
19) Once baked, top the pizzas with fresh basils.
20) Slice it using a pizza knife and make it ready to serve!
