Creamy Rice Pudding

Ingredients:

  • Milk, Divided
    2 Cups
  • White Sugar
    1/3 Cups
  • Golden Raisins
    2/3 Cups
  • Uncooked White Rice
    3/4 Cups
  • Egg, Beaten
    1
  • Butter
    1 Tablespoons
  • Vanilla Extract
    1/2 Teaspoons
  • Salt
    1/4 Teaspoons

Preparation mode:

1) In a saucepan or wok boil 1 1/2 cups water over medium heat and stir in uncooked white rice. Cover it and simmer for 20 minutes over low heat.
2) Combine cooked rice, salt, white sugar and 1 1/2 cups milk in another saucepan. Cook it over 15 to 20 minutes over medium heat until it becomes creamy and thick.
3) Stir in golden raisins, beaten egg and remain 1/2 cup milk and cook for 2 minutes.
4) After removing from heat, stir in vanilla extract and butter. Sprinkle cinnamon or nutmeg before serving the rice pudding.

Footnotes:

Creamy Rice Pudding is a real treat with great taste and flavors. Use medium grain rice if you want more creamy pudding. It’s an amazing healthy and delicious recipe of rice pudding and you don’t have to apply extra effort on it. Don’t let the pudding completely cool otherwise it won’t taste good.
