Turkey Casserole Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Butter
    1 Tablespoons
  • Vegetable Oil
    1 Tablespoons
  • Onion
    1
    Sliced
  • Green Bell Pepper
    1/2
    Cut into chunks
  • Red Bell Pepper
    1/2
    Cut into chunks
  • Fresh Mushrooms
    8 whole
  • Apple
    1
    Cored, Sliced
  • Garlic
    2 Cloves
    Chopped
  • Dry White Wine
    1 Cups
  • Thyme
    1 sprig
  • Oregano
    1 sprig
  • Parsley
    1 sprig
  • Sage
    1 sprig
  • Salt and Pepper
    To Taste
  • Turkey Leg Meat
    1.75 Pounds
    Cubed

Preparation mode:

Steps to make Turkey Casserole Recipe:
1) Prepare the baking oven and flame it up to the 180 degree Celsius mark.
2) Add vegetable oil and butter to a skillet. Heat over moderate flame.
3) Add onion and stir fry for about 5 minutes or until transparent.
4) Add green bell pepper, followed by red bell pepper. Stir fry the peppers with the onions for 5 minutes.
5) Now set up the cooked vegetables in a baking dish.
6) In the same skillet in which the vegetables were fried, add the turkey meat. Stir fry until evenly brown.
7) Transfer the cooked turkey to the baking dish.
8) Now mix in mushrooms and apple. Stir white wine into the dish.
9) Take a small bag or kitchen twine and mix thyme, parsley, oregano and sage into it. Seal and add to the baking dish.
10) Season the dish with salt and ground black pepper.
11) Bake for 2 hours time in the preheated oven. Discard the spices bag and serve!
