Steps to make Honey Brined Smoked Turkey Recipe:
1) Take a cooler and mix hot water and salt in it. Stir well until the salt is fully dissolved.
2) Stir in honey and vegetable broth. Mix well and add the ice. Stir well.
3) Add the Turkey to the cooler mixture with the breast side of the turkey facing up.
4) Seal the lid of the cooler and leave overnight.
5) Once done, take the turkey out and pat dry using paper towels.
6) Coat the turkey with vegetable oil. We wont be needing the brine anymore.
7) Take two sheet of aluminium foil, each large enough to hold a cup of wood chips.
8) Place the wood chips in their respective foils. Close the foils using the edges leaving a slight opening in the top.
9) Prepare the grill and heat it up to high. Slightly grease the grate.
10) Place one of the foiled wooden chips on the hot grate. Place the turkey on this.
11) Seal the grill lid and leave the turkey to cook for around 60 minutes time.
12) Discard the first wooden chips foil and replace it with the other one.
13) Now setup the turkey on the foiled wooden chips in the same way as before. Also cover the turkey with Aluminium foil.
14) Bake the turkey for 3 more hours.
15) Once done, cover the turkey in new aluminium foil and leave to rest for 60 minutes before serving.
