Tuna Italiano Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Garlic
    1 Cloves
    Sliced
  • White Onion
    1
    Sliced
  • Olive Oil
    3 Tablespoons
  • Water
    1 Cups
  • Canned Tuna in Oil
    12 Ounces
  • Canned Black Olives
    6 Ounces
    Chopped
  • Garlic Salt and Black Pepper
    To Taste
  • Pasta
    1 Pounds
  • Romano Cheese
    1/4 Cups
    Grated
  • Canned Garbanzo Beans
    15 Ounces

Preparation mode:

Steps to make Tuna Italiano Recipe:
1) Take a non stick skillet and heat olive oil in it over moderate flame.
2) Add garlic and saute for 2 minutes.
3) Add onion and pour in water. Stir fry until the onion is soft and tender.
4) Add olives, garlic salt, pepper, beans and tuna with oil.
5) Turn the flame down to moderate low and cover the skillet. Leave to simmer.
6) Meanwhile fill a stock pot with slightly salted water and bring to a boil over high flame.
7) Add pasta in the boiling water and boil over moderate high flame for 12 minutes. Drain well.
8) Mix the boiled pasta with the prepared tuna mixture.
9) Toss well and serve topped with Romano Cheese.

I was once experimenting around with different tuna dishes and came up with this Tuna Italiano Recipe. I have got to say, this is a super duper combination! Absolutely amazing, a super hit at my place now. My wife loves it, hope you like it too. Ready in just 1 hour's time. Enjoy!
