Caribbean Pasta with Shrimp Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Garlic
    4 Cloves
    Chopped
  • Shallots
    1/4 Cups
    Chopped
  • Ginger Root
    1 Tablespoons
    Chopped
  • Olive Oil
    3 Tablespoons
  • Green Bell Pepper
    1
    Chopped
  • Tomato
    1.5 Cups
    Peeled and Chopped
  • Curry Powder
    2 Teaspoons
  • All Spice
    1/2 Teaspoons
  • Chicken Stock
    1/2 Cups
  • Orange Liqueur
    1/4 Cups
  • Soy Sauce
    2 Tablespoons
  • Brown Sugar
    1 Tablespoons
  • Cornstarch
    2 Teaspoons
  • Chile Paste
    2 Tablespoons
  • Rotini Pasta
    8 Ounces
  • Cilantro
    1/2 Cups
    Chopped
  • Medium Shrimp
    1.5 Pounds
    Peeled and Deveined

Preparation mode:

Steps to make Caribbean Pasta with Shrimp Recipe:
1) Take a bowl and mix together oil, ginger, shallots and garlic.
2) Take another bowl and toss together curry powder, tomato, green pepper, chicken stock, all spice powder, Grand Marnier, soy sauce, cornstarch, brown sugar and chile paste. Mix thoroughly!
3) Cover both bowls and refrigerate for somet time.
4) Fill a stock pot with water and bring to a boil over high flame.
5) Add pasta to the stock pot and boil over moderate flame for about 10 minutes time.
6) Heat up a skillet over high flame. Add ginger oil mixture to the skillet and saute.
7) Stir in the tomato mixture and mix well. Bring to a boil and cook for 2-3 minutes.
8) Add in the shrimp and stir fry with the mixture for a couple of minutes.
9) Add in the boiled pasta and toss well with the whole mixture. Heat through for a few minutes and mix in salt to taste.
10) Top with Cilantro and serve hot!

The most amazing thing about this Recipe is that you can prepared all the sauces before time and refrigerate them. My wife is a massive fan of this! Super tasty stuff!
