Shrimp Bisque Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Olive Oil
    1 Tablespoons
  • Red Bell Pepper
    1
    Chopped
  • Yellow Onion
    1/2 Cups
    Chopped
  • Shrimp
    1/2 Pounds
  • Half and Half
    2 Cups
  • Tomato Sauce
    1 Cups
  • Hot Chile Sauce
    To Taste
  • Salt and Pepper
    To Taste
  • Butter
    1 Teaspoons
  • Salt and Pepper
    To Taste

Preparation mode:

1) Heat up olive oil in a non stick skillet over low flame.
2) Add onion and red pepper. Stir fry for about 15 minutes time.
3) Add half an half and pour in hot sauce, tomato sauce and shrimp.
4) Mix well throughout and season with salt and ground black pepper to taste.
5) Bring the mixture to a boil and turn the heat down. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, then mix in butter.
6) Add half of the cooked mixture to food blender and blend for 10 seconds.
7) Serve in individual bowls topped with Parmesan Cheese.

For those on a strict diet and for those looking for the healthiest of seafood meals, this Shrimp Bisque Recipe would fit the bill perfectly. A high protein, low card, low fat meal that is not only tasty but also very easy and simple to make. This dish is more of a seafood soup! Outstanding stuff!
