Buttermilk Potato Fried Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Chicken Pieces
    3 Pounds
  • Buttermilk
    2 Cups
  • Potato Flakes
    1 Cups
  • All Purpose Flour
    1 Cups
  • Poultry Seasoning
    1 Teaspoons
  • Salt and Pepper
    To Taste
  • Vegetable Oil for deep frying
    2 Cups

Preparation mode:

1) Wash the chicken pieces under luke warm water and dry with paper towels.
2) Take a bowl and fill it with buttermilk. Add chicken and turn to coat.
3) Refrigerate the bowl for several hours or overnight.
4) Take a new bowl and mix together poultry seasoning, flour, potato flakes.
5) Sprinkle salt and ground black pepper to taste. Mix well throughout.
6) Prepare oil in a deep fryer over high heat.
7) Once the oil is super hot, add in the coated chicken pieces carefully. Fry until evenly golden brown.
