Ham and Cheese Bowties Recipe

  • Bow tie Pasta
    8 Ounces
  • Butter
    1/4 Cups
  • Garlic
    1 Cloves
    Chopped
  • All Purpose Flour
    1/4 Cups
  • Salt and Pepper
    1/8 Teaspoons
  • Milk
    2 Cups
  • Mustard
    1/2 Teaspoons
  • Parmesan Cheese
    1/4 Cups
  • Colby Cheese
    2.5 Cups
  • Ham
    4 Ounces
    Pre Cooked

Preparation mode:

1) Flame up your oven to the 180 degree Celsius mark.
2) Boil pasta in slightly salted water for 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
3) Heat up butter in a skillet over moderate flame and saute garlic.
4) Add salt, black pepper and flour. Mix well.
5) Stir in milk, bit by bit. Mix well and boil the mixture.
6) Add colby cheese, followed by mustard. Mix well until the cheese has blended with the milk mixture.
7) Add ham and the boiled pasta. Coat well. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
8) Bake for half hour in the preheated oven. Serve fresh and cheesy!

Footnotes:

Tastes pretty much like the traditional home made mac and cheese, but this Ham and Cheese Bowties Recipe is a bit more flavorful. The ham adds to the taste for sure, and makes it a must loved dish at your house. Kids would love it!
