Red Snapper Livornese Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Lemon Juice
    1 Tablespoons
  • Red Snapper Fillets
    1 Pounds
  • Parsley
    1/2 Tablespoons
    Chopped
  • Red Pepper Flakes
    1/4 Teaspoons
  • Black Olives
    1/2 Cups
    Sliced
  • Capers
    2 Tablespoons
    Chopped
  • Canned Tomatoes
    5
    Chopped
  • Garlic
    2 Cloves
    Chopped
  • Onion
    1/2
    Diced
  • Olive Oil
    2 Tablespoons

Preparation mode:

1) Prepare the baking oven and flame it up to the 205 degree Celsius mark.
2) Heat up olive oil in a skillet over moderate flame. Add onion and fry until soft.
3) Add garlic to the onion and fry for a minute.
4) Add olives, capers, tomatoes, parsley and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Stir fry and bring the mixture to a boil.
5) Layer up half cup of the sauce on a baking dish and top with the red snapper fillets.
6) Top the fillets layer with the lemon juice and then with the remaining half cup of the sauce.
7) Bake for 15 minutes time in the preheated oven. In case of thick fish fillets, bake for half an hour atleast.

Red Snapper Livornese Recipe is a tangy and flavorful fish meal that you are sure to love if you love fish. Use any kind of firm fleshed fish with this. Grouper, sea bass, any would do, depending on your liking. You may also go with sole, Tilapia or other thin fish fillets. Serve with hot white boiled rice or blanched vegetables.
