Ingredients:
- Vegetable Oil for deep frying
- Garlic Powder1.5 Teaspoons
- Salt and PepperTo Taste
- All Purpose Flour1/2 Cups
- Chicken Gizzards1.5 Pounds
Preparation mode:
1) Rinse and drain the gizzards and discard any extra fat.
2) Fill a boiling pan with water and add the rinsed gizzards in it.
3) Bring both the water and the chicken to a boil over moderate flame. This should take anywhere between 12-15 minutes.
4) Once done, drain the boiled gizzards and leave aside to let cool.
5) Take a bowl and mix together flour and garlic powder.
6) Add salt and pepper to taste and mix well.
7) Heat up vegetable oil for frying in a deep frying skillet over high flame.
8) Once the oil is super hot, coat the chicken gizzards with the prepared flour mixture and fry.
Note: Fry until the gizzrds turn golden brown.
9) Turn the flame down to moderate and close the skillet with its lid.
10) Leave to cook for 10 more minutes. Set up on tissue paper layered plates and serve!
