Winter Green Salad Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Olive Oil
    6 Tablespoons
  • Balsamic Vinegar
    3 Tablespoons
  • Honey
    1 Tablespoons
  • Oregano
    1 Tablespoons
    Crushed
  • Chili Powder
    1.5 Teaspoons
  • Mustard
    1 Teaspoons
  • Garlic
    1 Cloves
    Chopped
  • Salt
    To Taste
  • Black peppercorns
    1/4 Teaspoons
    Crushed
  • Raisins
    To Taste
  • Walnuts

    Halved and Crushed
  • Cherry Tomatoes

  • Carrots
    1/2
    Grated
  • Avocado
    1/2
    Peeled and Diced
  • Orange Bell Pepper
    1/2
    Diced
  • Bosc Pear
    1
    Cubed
  • Onion
    1/2
    Diced
  • Red Cabbage
    1/4
    Chopped
  • Romaine Lettuce
    1 head
    Chopped
  • Kale
    1/3 Bunch
    Chopped
  • Collard Leaves
    4
    Chopped

Preparation mode:

1) Take a large mixing bowl and toss together kale, collard greens, cabbage, pear, onion, avocaco, orange bell pepper, walnuts, tomatoes and rasins.
2) Let us now prepare the dressing. Take a new bowl and mix togeyher honey, vinegar and olive oil.
3) Add oregano, mustard, chili powder and garlic to the bowl. Mix in salt and pepper to taste.
4) Transfer the prepared dressing into a closable jar. Seal the jar tightly and shake repeatedly to mix well.
5) Pour the preprared dressing into the tossed salad bowl. Toss and mix to coat readily. Serve!

Footnotes:

Not many people like having salads and other raw meals in the cold of the winters, but this Winter Green Salad Recipe can be a good dish to have. A very refreshing and filling salad that can be served both as an appetizer and as a main course meal. Super healthy and super easy to make, its a must learn for the diet conscious ones!
