Crab Stuffed Flounder Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Flounder FIllets
    1.5 Pounds
  • Crabmeat
    1 Cups
    Flaked
  • Green Bell Pepper
    1 Tablespoons
    Chopped
  • Dry Mustard Powder
    1/4 Teaspoons
  • Worcestershire Sauce
    1/4 Teaspoons
  • Salt
    To Taste
  • White Pepper
    To Taste
  • Butter
    1/4 Cups
  • Mayonnaise
    1 Tablespoons
  • Egg White
    1
  • Saltline Crackers
    3
    Crushed
  • Egg Yolk
    1
  • Mayonnaise
    5 Tablespoons
  • Paprika Powder
    1/2 Teaspoons
  • Parsley
    1 Tablespoons

Preparation mode:

1) Prepare the baking oven and flame it up to the 195 degree Celsius mark.
2) Wash the fillets thoroughly and pat dry with paper towels.
3) Take a bowl and mix together mustard powder, green pepper, Worcestershire sauce, white pepper, salt and saltines.
4) Add crab meat to the bowl, and then add mayonnaise to taste and egg white. Mix all ingredients thoroughly together.
5) Coat the flounder fillet with butter and set up on a baking dish which is slightly greased.
6) Top the fillets layer with the prepared crabmeat mixture. Top with more butter.
7) Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 15 minutes time.
8) Beat egg yolk in a new bowl and whisk in 5 tablespoons mayonnaise.
9) Once the fish is baked, top with the egg and mayo mixture. Bake for 5 more minutes and serve!

Footnotes:

My kids are huge fans of this Crab Stuffed Flounder Recipe, and believe me, none of them is a massive fish fan. The recipe is not at all hard to make. If you find the flavors too bland for your liking, marinate the fish fillets in the sauce for long and bake in a small pan to allow for juices to get absorbed thoroughly.
