Ingredients:
- Coconut Milk1/2 Cups
- Whole Almonds6
- White Onion2 TablespoonsChopped
- Ginger1 TeaspoonsChopped
- Turmeric Powder1/2 Teaspoons
- Salt and PepperTo Taste
- Red Pepper FlakesTo Taste
- Lemon Grass1 TeaspoonsChopped
- Tilapia Fillets4
Preparation mode:
1) In a bowl, mix together onion, almonds, ginger, turmeric, lemon grass, salt and coconut milk.
2) Add the contents of the bowl to a food blender. Blend until a smooth puree forms.
3) Heat up a non stick skillet over high flame.
4) COat the Tilapia fillets with salt and pepper to taste. Fry on in the hot skillet with the skin side up.
5) While the fish is being fried, top with the prepared coconut puree.
6) Use a stir handle to coat the fillets evenly with the sauce. Top with red pepper flakes.
7) Turn the flame down to moderate and cover the skillet. Leave to cook for around 15 minutes time. Serve over hot white boiled rice!
