Yogurt Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Chicken Breasts
    4
    Boneless
  • Plain Yogurt
    6 Ounces
  • Lemon Juice
    Of 1 Lemon
  • Bread Crumbs
    1 Cups
  • Garlic Powder
    1/2 Teaspoons
  • Salt
    To Taste
  • Butter
    1/4 Cups
  • Parsley
    1 Tablespoons
    Chopped

Preparation mode:

1) Flame your oven up to the 180 degree Celsius mark.
2) In a bowl add yogurt and beat it using a spoon. Beat thoroughly until smooth and creamy.
3) Add lemon to the bowl and mix readily in the beaten yogurt.
4) In another bowl, mix together garlic powder, salt and bread crumbs.
5) Slightly grease a baking pan.
6) Dip the chicken breasts first in the prepared yogurt mixture and then in the bread crumb mixture. Set up on the greased baking pan.
7) Top the chicken with melted butter evenly on all sides, then top with chopped parsley.
8) Bake the chicken for 60 minutes in the preheated oven. Once done, leave to stand for a few minutes and then serve hot!

The marinade and the coating in this Yogurt Chicken Recipe is absolutely fabulous. So crunchy and nice to the teeth, it is a perfect meal to have with your favorite side order. Serve with coleslaw or French fries. Also, the chicken is wonderfully juicy and tender. A wonderful alternative to the normal fried chicken we normally have.
