Oregon Salmon Patties Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Shortening
    3 Tablespoons
  • Dry Mustard
    1 Teaspoons
  • Parsley
    1/4 Cups
    Chopped
  • Eggs
    2
  • Cracker Crumbs
    1 Cups
  • Onion
    1
    Chopped
  • Butter
    2 Tablespoons
  • Canned Salmon
    15 Ounces

Preparation mode:

1) Drain the canned Salmon and secure 3/4 of the whole liquid.
2) Heat up butter in a skillet over high flame. Stir fry the onin until soft.
3) Take a bowl and add in the reserved fish liquid.
4) Add onions, eggs, parsley and mustard to the bowl. Toss and whisk all ingredients well.
5) Add the Salmon and 1/3 of the cracker crumbs. Mix readily throughout.
6) Once mixed well, form pattie shapes out of the mixture. Coat the patties in the cracker crumbs.
7) Heat up shortening in a skillet over moderate flame. Fry the prepared patties until brown on both sides.

My wife says that these Oregon Salmon Patties Recipe are the best fish patties she has ever tasted in her life. Oregon, the name of a coast is not to be confused with Oregano. This delicious Salmon dish originated from the Oregon coast. A stunning appetizer or main course side dish!
