Home Remedies for Food Poisoning

We usually blame our overeating habits to cause food poisoning, but this is not true in all situations. Sometimes when you become addict to intake oily and junk foods, you develop food poisoning. This can also occur the times when you’ve eaten nothing for hours and hours.
In any of the situation, food poisoning is an uncomfortable and unpleasant condition that needs immediate treatment. Usually the minor forms of the disease are curable with home remedies, but if it turns to a chronic condition, then the victim needs doctor’s help. Here are some home remedies for food poisoning.
Drink Clean Water
Make clean water available all the time at home and office. It often happens that food poisoning takes place due to excessive intake of unhygienic water that contains too many dust particles, bacteria or viruses. This affects negatively on your digestive system, followed by nausea, vomiting, and even diarrhea. Whether your complication is of chronic type or acute one, in any of the situation clean water’s intake is a must.
Eat Green Vegetables
Fresh green vegetables are very good for health. Make spinach and other green veggies a part of your life. Try your best to eat at least one plate of fresh salad rather than Russian salad every day. This gives the body strength to fight against minor health problems. It also boosts immunity naturally and keeps your stomach healthy.
Eat Yogurt or Curd
Yogurt and curd are the two delicious forms of milk. Make any of them a part of your daily diet. This contains bacteria-killing elements that are the reason behind many food poisoning forms. If you already have this complication, yogurt and curt can produce lactic acid in your intestine and regulate your digestion. You would start feeling better with the passage of days.
Avoid Certain Foods
Let me tell you what you have to avoid: cheese and other dairy products except yogurt/curd, oily foods, junk meals, tea, soups, gelatin, rice, noodles, banana, potato, toasts, cooked carrot, soda cracker, and skinless white-meat chicken. All of these foods should be kept away from your life till your food poisoning is properly cured.
